Willmar Community Senior Network 2011 Programming Current WCSN Programs



 • Senior Care Coordinator: Home visits, referrals & case management.

• Volunteer Coordination & Training.

• Outreach & Networking with other senior serving organizations.

• A Living At Home Network: One of 41 LAHN programs across the state of Minnesota 

• Senior Technology Project: A partnership with local Economic Development Commission to enable seniors to connect through computers with loved ones and community resources.

• Keeping seniors living in their homes, feeling cared for & respected.

• Alzheimer’s patients are referred to WCSN from local doctors to connect them with community resources in handling this disease.

• Advocacy for seniors.

• Connecting seniors to other agencies & community projects.

 • Bone Builders Exercise Program:  To prevent osteoporosis & improve balance.
Bone Builders is an evidence based exercise program for those 55 and older. This class is taught by a volunteer and is free of charge.
Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:15 to 11:15 am  at the Willmar City Auditorium, 6th St. SW, Willmar, MN.
